This folks is anartifact. It is also not an artifact of digital processing flawseither because aspects along the perimeter are not natural to theterrain either. That is besides the obvious that it is a clearrectangle with some variation likely reflecting engineering choices.
We have had otherprospective artifacts but nothing this explicit. What this is is ahuge deliberate excavation that drops some distance into the crust. The purpose is obvious in that such a construct opens a large area onthe bottom that receives only a fraction of the cosmic flux allowingoperations on the surface there. At the same time, additionalstructure can be built into the surrounding walls. In fact, theentire crust of Mercury is available for building habitats althoughwhat we have not yet identified is the spoil which should existunless crustal material is way more compressible than we imagine.
There could be plenty ofspoil in powder form in the surrounding craters.
We have already made noteof a plausible artifact on Phobos. It is also likely that Phobos isa hollowed out asteroidal space habitat holding a rotating globegenerating a natural centripetal gravity of one g and a population of100,000,000 at least.
All this is evidenceconforming to my conjecture that humanity converted to space adaptedhumanity some 15,000 plus years ago in preparation for shifting theEarth's crust and ending the great Ice Age. We are actually locatingthe space habitats. There are likely substantial ones on the farside of the moon.
Please observe that theybuild deep in order to protect themselves from the extremely hostilespace environment. Once I understood the nature of the problem I hadreverse engineered such an asteroid based habitat as Phobos andfigured out how to even move it to a convenient orbit out of theAsteroid belt. I was later surprised to discover that Phobos met allthe expected parameters.
For what it is worth, theRussians figured out as much back in 1959 and their attempt to send amission last year was aimed at Phobos. This mission was wreckedwhich certainly begs the question of the existence of activeinterference.
It should be obvious thatnone of these habitats are abandoned at all and that they are all upthere.

Iwas looking over some Mercury photos and found this unusual blackdoorway. It is long and rectangle in shape with four almost perfectright angel corners. Unless meteor cubes are pummeling planets, thisseems to be made by ancient aliens. Since nasa states; "thecrater that is just left of the center of the photo is 42km (26miles) in diameter," this gives us the approximate size of thedoorway. It takes 7.5 of the doors to cross the entire crater,meaning the doorway is 5.6km long or 3.4 miles. That is a giantdoorway for giant ships to travel through. Check it out at the sourcebelow. SCW

Scott C. Waring,author of UFO Sightings Daily, was looking over some Mercury photosand found this unusual black doorway. It is long and rectangle inshape with four almost perfect right angel corners. Unless meteorcubes are pummeling planets, this seems to be made by ancient aliens.
